What happens after the keys are yours
A lease that only works on day one is not a fleet programme. This is the reporting, the servicing and the escalation path that runs for the whole term.
What the portal reports
Six things, per vehicle. The per-vehicle part matters: a fleet average hides the two vans doing 30,000 miles while six do 11,000, and excess mileage is charged per vehicle, not per fleet.
- Odometer, per vehiclePulled monthly from the telematics unit, exportable to CSV. This is the number that decides your next mileage band, and it is per unit, never fleet-averaged.
- Engine fault codesRaised to your coordinator the day they appear, with a booking offered against your yard calendar rather than ours.
- Idle timeMinutes per vehicle per day. The single most common saving our customers find in the first quarter, and the one nobody expects.
- Driver scoringHarsh braking, acceleration and cornering events, per driver. Used for coaching, and it feeds insurance conversations.
- Service historyEvery visit, every part, every invoice line, kept against the vehicle rather than in a folder in someone's cab.
- One consolidated invoiceEvery unit, every site, one document a month. Lease, maintenance and telematics on the same page with a per-vehicle breakdown.
What changes as the fleet grows
No tiers to buy. These thresholds are automatic and they are written into the agreement.
| Fleet size | Account manager | Swap unit | Review cadence |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 to 3 vehiclesStandard commercial programme. Everything published on this site still applies, including the free pre-inspection. | Shared desk | Best efforts | Annual |
| 4 to 7 vehiclesA named person with a direct line who knows your routes and your renewal dates. | Named manager | Best efforts | Every 6 months |
| 8 to 24 vehiclesA replacement unit in your yard within one business day when something goes down. | Named manager | Guaranteed in 24 hours | Quarterly |
| 25 vehicles and upStructured programme with staged delivery, cycle planning and a residual grid review each quarter. | Named manager and a backup | Guaranteed in 24 hours | Quarterly, with a residual review |
Servicing around your calendar
A van in a workshop on a Tuesday morning is a missed job, not a maintenance item. We book against your yard calendar, we collect and return where the schedule allows, and scheduled maintenance is included on most units for the first 36 months.
- Service slots offered against your calendar, not a first available list
- Collection and return from your yard where the schedule allows
- Scheduled maintenance included on most units for the first 36 months
- Swap unit in the yard within 24 hours on accounts of eight or more
- Lift gate and refrigeration certifications tracked and flagged before they lapse

Ask what your current fleet costs you in downtime
Most fleets can tell you the monthly payment and not the number of vehicle-days lost last year. The second number is usually larger.
